It’s not just games publishers, social networks and coders with a penchant for comedy animal noises releasing apps for the iPhone, y’know. The world’s most desirable fashion brands are catching onto the potential of Apple’s handset.
Take Chanel, which launched its debut iPhone app on the quiet this weekend. It’s called CHANEL - Defile Haute Couture (albeit with a few more poncey accents on those letters), and it’s so posh, its application description is entirely in French. Even in the UK App Store. Nice.
But the free app is well worth downloading if you’re a fashionista. It offers a selection of looks and accessories from Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2008/9 collection, as well as general Chanel news, and a store locator. Although if you need to ask where your nearest store is, you’re clearly not cool enough, dahling…
