The human body is a great and wondrous thing, as you’ll know if you’ve ever marvelled at its ability to get out of bed the morning after seven pints of wine and a kebab. But enough about my nights out.

Netter’s Musculoskeletal Flash Cards is a new iPhone app that explains more refined aspects of your innards: specifically your bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints. It’s a collection of 210 flash cards explaining which bit does what, designed to help medical students and serial killers revise on the go.

There are study and quiz modes to get you up to speed, and the app even connects to Google to look up extra information. Okay, so it’s pricey at £23.99, but for the people who’ll use it, that’s much cheaper than a textbook.
