Dinner-dinner-dinner-dinner BATMAN! I never tire of that song. I doubt it features in Warner Bros’ new iPhone application though, which is based on the recent movie blockbuster The Dark Knight.
The app is called The Dark Knight: HaHaHa, and is a nifty personalisation application that lets you take a photo, slap some Joker artwork onto it, [...]

Last.fm iPhone app updates to version 2.0
Last.fm’s iPhone application has been pretty popular, allowing users to stream their personalised music radio channels to their handset. Now it’s got a spiffing upgrade to version 2.0, with a host of new features.
The main change is the user interface, which has been made more intuitive. You can also tag the songs that you play [...]
BibleXpress brings multiple Bible translations to iPhone
Dusty old Bibles? You can keep ‘em, vicar! All the modern Christian needs is the BibleXpress iPhone application (okay, they’ll need an iPhone or iPod Touch too), which offers a bunch of different translations of the Bible, “from conservative to contemporary”.
Molecules app gets biological on iPhone
I’m quite fascinated by molecules and DNA these days, although more in the form of colourful pretty pictures than the ins and outs of how they actually work. But then I’m an artistic type innit. Anyway, Molecules is a new iPhone app that’ll appeal to the likes of me, but also proper scientists. Possibly.
CellSpin launches social network aggregator for iPhone
One of the hot areas for iPhone apps looks set to be social network aggregation tools - apps that let you manage and access ALL your social networks and content-sharing sites, rather than having a separate app for each one. CellSpin is just such an application.
The hip bone’s connected on your… iPhone!
The human body is a great and wondrous thing, as you’ll know if you’ve ever marvelled at its ability to get out of bed the morning after seven pints of wine and a kebab. But enough about my nights out.
WordPress hits the iPhone
The first official WordPress iPhone app came out today, allowing you to post to your blog on the go. And yes, I am writing this post with it.
So far, I’m impressed. It’s slick, logged me in first time, and is easy enough to whack posts together. It can’t do some of the more complex stuff [...]
NetSketch lets you get arty with other iPhone users
There’s no shortage of drawing apps for the iPhone, thanks to its intuitive touchscreen interface (i.e. you can waggle your finger or thumb and create masterpieces - or jumbly rubbish). NetSketch is the latest, and it’s one of the most innovative.
Facebook iPhone app gets an update
And it’s a good one! Facebook was available on day one of the iPhone App Store, with a relatively basic service compared to the existing iPhone-friendly website. You could update your status and see what friends were doing, but that was about all.
Galcon offers shooty strategy thrills
You’ve gotta love the App Store ratings system, with innocuous-sounding games being rated for infrequent/mild cartoon or fantasy violence (for example). Bring on the mild peril! Anyway, Galcon is a recipient of a 9+ rating, so don’t let your toddlers loose on it.
